Project Concept

Pop Info — Generative UI for Pop Culture Ranking

Most AI apps answer questions.

We want to build one that generates an entire interactive experience around identity, expertise, and subculture ranking.

A user enters something like:

  • “Rank me among electronic music producers”
  • “How hardcore of a coffee nerd am I?”
  • “Where do I land among Rust programmers?”

The agent does not return a paragraph.

Instead, it dynamically generates:

  • ranking dimensions for the culture
  • themed interactive quiz interfaces
  • animated loading/reasoning flows
  • topic-specific visuals and mascots
  • a personalized archetype + percentile results page

The UI itself is generated from semantic agent output.

Why This Fits the Hackathon

The core idea is:
AI should generate interfaces, not just text.

Pop Info uses structured agent outputs to progressively materialize an application experience:

  • loading states
  • quizzes
  • interaction flows
  • result visualizations
  • themed UI components

We’re specifically exploring:

  • schema-driven UI generation
  • component-registry rendering
  • streaming interface composition
  • agent-authored interaction flows

Instead of:
LLM → chatbot response

We’re building:
LLM → structured UI intent → rendered application state

Planned UX Flow

  1. User enters a topic/subculture
  2. Agent analyzes the “culture space”
  3. Loading screen streams reasoning + generated visuals
  4. Quiz UI is dynamically generated
  5. User completes 5–7 generated questions
  6. Agent generates a results/archetype interface
  7. User restarts and explores another identity space

Technical Direction

Minimal architecture, strong demo polish.

Planned stack:

  • React / Next.js
  • Tailwind
  • Structured LLM outputs
  • Zod schemas
  • Component registry rendering
  • Optional CopilotKit integration
  • Framer Motion polish

The app is intentionally constrained:

  • finite UI primitives
  • deterministic rendering
  • generated semantic composition
  • no arbitrary JSX/code generation

Looking For

Interested in teaming up with people excited about:

  • GenUI systems
  • AI-generated interfaces
  • React/Tailwind
  • frontend motion/polish
  • structured LLM workflows
  • interactive UX
  • demo storytelling

Goal is to ship a cohesive, memorable, and visually strong GenUI demo within the 6-hour window.

Scoring for Narrarive Media Dynamic Score Generation
Music generation and synthesis for narrative media. I have developed an algebraic representation of music composition. I generate music assets like MIDI files and Sheet Music using a simple API. I design new additive synthesis algorithms, to render these scores in a dynamic and expressive way in non-real time. I'm building an application called Chordy Story that enables writers and authors to upload their content to self-publish it on Chordy Story with music attached.
