We’re excited to announce our next AI Tinkerers event on September 17, 2024! Join us at Past Lives, located at 2808 SE 9th Ave, Portland, OR 97202. This is a fantastic opportunity to showcase your latest AI projects and engage in meaningful discussions with fellow builders.

What to Expect

This meetup is all about demos! We want to see your work in progress—no pitch decks, just raw and exciting demonstrations of what you’re building. Whether it’s a novel application of LLMs or an innovative use of generative AI, we want to hear about it!

Tentative Schedule:

• 5:00 PM: Doors Open
• 6:00 PM - 7:00 PM: Community Demos
• 7:00 PM - 8:00 PM: Networking and Discussions
• 8:15 PM: Close

Who Should Attend?

This event is designed for active builders who are deeply involved in creating AI-powered applications. If you are working on LLMs or generative AI and are eager to share your insights and experiences with like-minded individuals, this is the place for you!

Demo Signups

We are actively seeking demo submissions! Each demo will be approximately 5 minutes long, followed by a Q&A session. Please fill out the Demo Submission Form after registering for the event. Remember, no pitch decks—just show us what you’ve got!

Venue wanted!

We are looking for a regular venue that we can host this at in a reasonbly accesible downtown location. The sponsor would get sponsor benefits to the global audience of 20,000 AI developers we have.

Volunteers wanted to help

About 2-3 hours a month max. Drop me a note even if you think there is nothing you can offer but feel strangely compelled to get involved. You usually are the innovator. If you are a people person, throw your lot in, it will connect you to the brightest in this space and be useful for your career.
